Pacific Coast Hospice is locally owned and operated in Arizona. We are privately held and are therefore not members of a parent healthcare organization, publicly traded corporation, private equity firm, or other management organization.
Safety
Pacific Coast Hospice is committed to patient safety and providing quality healthcare, as such we have chosen to follow standards set by Accreditation Organizations that meet or exceed current regulations. In addition, we also follow guidelines set by Medicare and The Arizona Department of Health.
Quality
Pacific Coast Hospice has adopted the quality measures produced in part by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). As part of our Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP), we utilize the Hospice Item Set (HIS) for tracking specific measures and outcomes pertaining to quality and safety. We also utilize the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey.
