For programs that successfully pass a rigorous onsite survey, The Joint Commission awards The Gold Seal of Approval. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective care.
Pacific Coast Hospice has adopted the quality measures produced in part by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). As part of our Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP), we utilize the Hospice Item Set (HIS) for tracking specific measures and outcomes pertaining to quality and safety. We also utilize the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey.
